Young people in Derbyshire are being offered an exciting new pathway into employment, thanks to a unique collaboration between The Devonshire Group, Direct Education Business Partnership (DEBP), and Derbyshire County Council's Adult Community Education Services (DACES). The supported internship programme, launching at the Chatsworth Estate in September 2026, is designed to help young people aged 18 to 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) take their first steps towards paid employment.
