Connected Futures in the East Midlands Combined County Authority is an in-depth research project seeking to identify the system and issues around employment for young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
It considers preparation for work, as well as securing employment and career progression.
The project is a partnership which includes the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), Derbyshire and the other local authorities in the region, and the Direct Education Business Partnership (DEBP).
Connected Futures in EMCCA is one of only eleven projects nationally to be awarded the Connected Futures Fund from The Youth Futures Foundation.
