A support group for parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is being held in Wirksworth. The group meet to discuss their experiences and challenges to receive advice and support from other parents and carers with shared experiences.
The group is run by parents, for parents, to offer the positive peer support needed by many. All group leaders have a child with additional needs. A diagnosis is not needed to attend the support group meetings. You can enjoy coffee, cakes and a chat, and sometimes hear from guest speakers with specialist skills or knowledge associated with special needs.

Future dates are set-up each term-time ensuring no clashes happen with inset days etc. Future dates will be added to this page when advertised by the group.
