Social Prescribing is a way of helping children and young people feel better by connecting them with things to do, groups, or support where they live.
Instead of just giving medical advice, a link worker helps them find things they enjoy or things that might help them.
This could be clubs, sports, art, music, nature walks, or someone to talk to.
It’s all about them feeling happy, healthy and more confident.
A new countywide social prescribing service is due to start next April 2027 and parent/carers views on offer are welcome! Please complete the following survey to share your views. We’d love to hear from you.
