Derbyshire County Council is seeking public views on proposals that will shape how Derbyshire Adult Community Education Services (DACES) delivers adult education in the future, following Cabinet agreement to consult on these plans.
The consultation includes DACES learning for young people through study programmes and supported internships. You can include your specific views on the programmes for young people in question 17.
Derbyshire County Council is seeking a wide range of views on how they can make the service more flexible, sustainable, and impactful ensuring it meets the needs of Derbyshire communities and helps people achieve and progress including the provision for young people.
Recent changes to funding and evolving community needs give us an opportunity to review how we operate, increase learner numbers, and ensure those who need the most support can gain qualifications to help them move forward.
The public consultation launched on Monday 15 December and will run until Monday 22 February.
